Hubbard Glacier

I'm finally getting back to finishing up my Alaska posts. One of the most beautiful parts of the cruise was the Hubbard Glacier and surrounding areas. We approached the glacier around 10am, which is John Harrison's naptime, so we all went out onto one of the main decks and then went back to our room, put John Harrison down for his nap, and then enjoyed the beautiful scenery from our balcony. Although we bundled up, the temperature wasn't nearly as cold as I would have expected; instead, the wind was blowing really hard making the air seem colder than it actually was. It was amazing to see huge chunks of ice, which had broken off from the glacier, floating around our ship.
