Islamorada fish feeding

We stopped at a place called Robbie's Marina in Islamorada, FL. For about $11, we had some of the most fun of our whole trip. The $11 bought three buckets of (deceased) minnows and passage onto the marina dock. Sitting on the dock looking into the crystal clear green water, we could see literally hundreds of huge tarpon fish swimming and swarming, eagerly awaiting their next meal. Each tarpon can grow up to seven feet long and weigh nearly 200 pounds!! The fish we saw were anywhere from three to seven feet long. The fish would jump out of the water to grab a meal. Throw a minnow out 30 feet and a bunch of tarpons would rush to fight for the food.
Signs were clearly posted "Do not feed the Pelicans"---the look on the Pelican's face clearly stated "Ummm...guys, feed me, too....ignore the sign and those pesky big fish and feed me instead." We obeyed the signs and ignored the Pelican.
